Description
Today was a sad day, best friends of 12 years, a Grey Quarter Horse named "Lady" and her best friend "Sissy" said their final farewell today. These two have been inseparable since the day they met. Spending day and night together, eating together, playing together, they were the best of friends. Sadly, Sissy developed an infection and after two weeks of treatment did not get better, the horse never left her side. After my father and dear neighbor loaded up Sissy for the last time to go to the vet to be put to sleep, Lady ran and cried for her, my Mother said it was heartbreaking. I know Sissy, your still looking over Lady. We All miss you so much, you will never be forgotten sweet girl.

What a wonderful image! Such a sad story, but also reassuring, as it's wonderful to think that animals care so much for each other. Hope Lady is doing okay. Voted

Thank you so much Bruce, Animals are a true gift, and I have lost many. I agree with you the they do touch your heart in such a special way that you never forget them. I am glad you enjoyed the sweet story about Lady and Sissy, it was heartbreaking, but I do feel the same way. I appreciate your story as well! Thank you.
